Mazda RX-7 FC3S Cabriolet ”Turbo II” (S5 Facelift) – 155 000 SEK / €15 500
Beskrivning
I am offering a relatively rare and previously very underrated Japanese enthusiast car- in ”good to go” condition and no urgent need of restoration/repairs:
A Mazda RX-7 ”Turbo II” (S5 Facelift, final edition before the FD3S arrived).
This sports convertible is factory painted in the rare Grey metallic. Powered by a twin-rotor Wankel engine, the ”Turbo II” model had many other great technical innovations for its time, such as electric powered convertible top, speed-dependent power steering, passive steering rear axle- and a turbocharger with a ”twin-scroll” design.
Together with the turbine-like sounding Wankel engine, the driving experience is modern and care-free step away from early 80’s cars, but still very distinct old school type of fun.
Mileage is 149 000km (93 000 miles). Very few owners (2) during its lifetime.
The most recent was an older gentleman who owned the car from 2005, who used it sparingly as a weekend cruiser during summer.
Has been thoroughly serviced with new fluids, spark plugs etc and runs very well.
Exterior and interior is in good condition apart from some minor scratches/scuffs.
The top is overall fine, but like all older convertibles suffers from slight leaks if you store it outside for too long.
The car is close to stock besides:
17” Aftermarket wheels, ultra-rare König Leather seats with yellow piping (that cost a fortune when they were new) and some nice 1990’s tuning-sprinkle in the form of a genuine Momo steering wheel and gear shift knob.
It has been modestly used since acquisition and only attended some enthusiast gatherings.
With life moving on and trying to clear some space in the garage, it’s the right time to let another Rotary-enthusiast enjoy it and take ownership over it just before they become very expensive collector cars.
The car is registered, road legal (passed inspection) and taxed for Swedish roads. EU-export can be arranged.
Open for trades against any other JDM-classics such as Toyota Supra, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Silvia or maybe a Mitsubishi Evo or Subaru Impreza.
