Was in excellent condition when it arrived, has only had one owner since.
Mechanically, its been very well service and maintained by an experienced mechanic.
Radiator and clutch among other things have been changed over the years. Engine, turbo and transmission run like clockwork.
Newly had a big service done including oil, sparkpluggs, air filter and more overall maintenance measures.
As its been an all-year around daily driven car before our acquisition, there is surface rust (especially trunk and rear wheel arches) and other small fixes to consider and weighed into the affordable asking price.
The chassis has been partially overhauled by us, with a lot of new expensive parts including:
Rear crossmember (subframe), bottom ball joins, front and rear droplinks, rear Anti-Roll bar.
All parts are Subaru OEM or uprated parts from Subaru motorsports specialist Roger Clark Motorsports.
It has recently passed Swedish road inspection.
Overall close to stock, besides aftermarket upgraded TEIN Coilover-suspension and a Fujitsubo cat-back stainless steel exhaust.
The cars was ECU tuned at arrival, to suit lower octane European fuel and offer better mileage and reliability.
While still on factory (underrated) power, it is a beast ready to from a standing still; outrun many more modern performance cars (0 – 100km/h <5.2 seconds).
Performance not far at all from its Impreza STi sibling, like Top Gear concluded in the review of both cars.
Factory upgrades unique to the JDM Forester STi:
To cope with the power made by the powerful engine, the Forester STi got many upgrades such as: 
Larger intercooler, a low-back-pressure exhaust system, uprated suspension components including STi sport springs, revised struts at each corner and bigger anti-roll bars and cross-members. 
The Forester STi is also equipped with a new steering rack with a quicker ratio that leads to a more deliberate turn-in.
The rally inspired interior, wheels and bodykit are a bespoke and highly desired upgrades for any true JDM fanatic!
Registered, road legal and taxed for Swedish roads. EU-export can be arranged.
Perfect car for anyone who does not mind investing a little extra work and dedication, to make it a true collectors car in exterior condition as well.
